The
Yellow Ribbon Suicide Awareness Committee is a community-based, non-profit voluntary
group. The Yellow Ribbon Committee provides
community education and awareness for the prevention of suicide. This includes increasing awareness of available
resources within the community, as well as teaching individuals the knowledge and skills
necessary to recognize and help a peer or family member in need.
