I am selling 5 antique wooden sleds with metal runners. The sleds can be purchased together or separately. Having done some research, I believe the sleds are from the 1930’s – 1940’s. The five sleds range in size and model. The sled lengths vary from almost 5 feet long to 3 feet 6 inches long. Three of the sleds are Flexible Flyers, made by SL Allen & Co of Philadelphia, PA, including a “Firefly” and a “Pilot” from the Airline series and a “Super Sterling”. One of the sleds is a “Garton” sled, made by the garton toy Company of Wisconsin. One of the sleds is a “Speedway” made by the West Sumner Manufacturing Co of Maine. I have sold 3 other sleds for $45 each. In the interest of clearing space in the room the sleds are located, I am selling the remaining 5 sleds for $150 total. Please e-mail me if you are interested.
