Grade 8 School Curriculum was developed, along with binder divider pages.

This suicide awareness project was designed to address specific curriculum objectives outlined by Alberta Learning for the Grade 8 Health Curriculum and to supplement the Career and Life Management (C.A.L.M.) curriculum with local resources. Funds from the Battle River Community Foundation were used to print binder divider pages that were distributed to students in the above courses.  (View Page 1-119k)  (View Page 2-169k)These dividers provide the students with a long-lasting resource for seeking help when they, a friend or loved one may be contemplating suicide.

In Grade 8 Health classes, the binder divider pages are used in conjunction with a locally-developed suicide awareness lesson plans.
